3 Line Mixer

source: unknown

This project is a 3 or more lines mixer. For more than 3 inputs you can repeat the input parts  (P=10K R=22K). It powered with 9Vdc.

this guid is very useful,
instead of 2k2 i used 5.6k & i used 560k instead of 1m
and i used BC547 TRANSISTOR
and 33k instead of 22k
and 100k potentiometer.

How much current does this circuit draw?
What changes are needed to run it on 5V so that I can take power from a USB charger?
Thanks.

I've built this with a few little changes..
By accident, I used 2k2 resistors instead of 22k resistors..
Two of the inputs don't have pots on them..
I'm using a 3904 transistor..
Two of the inputs are from my iPod.. the third is the mono input from my airplane... The output is to my airplane headset..
The music sounds great, but I cant turn up the volume much..
The audio from the airplane is really finicky... If I adjust the pot too much in either direction all of the audio goes away..
If I turn up the input volume too much (from either source) there is quite a bit of clipping..
Any one have any idea how I can fix it?
Otherwise I am loving it!!

About the clipping problem, I had the same problem, so I putted a 100k resistor before that 5uF capacitor that enters the circuit and it works like a charm...Of course that it lowered the volume, cuz that's all about , the signal coming from the inputs is to high, so that 100k resistor attenuates a little bit that mixed inputs before it enters the circuit.

Thanks for the schematic, it's amazing!

Very simple... I'll try this circuit
